"Be someone's umbrella today" -- unknown
Hi! I am Cassie Dudley. I teach the Comprehensive Learning Support classroom at Burchfield Primary in Shaler Area School District. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Washington & Jefferson college in Washington, PA and I received my Masters of Education in Special Education with a concentration in Early Intervention for Autism from the University of Pittsburgh. I have worked for the Watson Institute, as well as Wesley Spectrum Services! My teaching style is what I like to call "eclectic behaviorism." I use a combination of ABA, verbal behavior, naturalistic teaching, and the TEACCH method.
In my spare time, I teach dance at a local ballet studio, where I developed a special needs dance program to increase the opportunities for extra curricular activities for special needs children in the area. For more information, see www.idealdancepittsburgh.com !
